OUR STORY
JEFF, BILL AND LOUIE - WE ARE THREE EXPERIENCED AND TALENTED MUSICIANS PROVIDING ROUSING ROCK, A BLEND OF BLUES AND A COATING OF COUNTRY TO THE PHOENIX, ARIZONA AREA FOR ABOUT FOUR YEARS.

MEET THE BAND
BILL HOKENSON
Bass, Keyboard and Vocals
Bill grew up in Greeley, Colorado and has been playing since he was 13 years old. He still has the Fender bass his parents bought him for his 13th birthday! Bill plays 4 and 8-string basses, and uses bass midi pedals for effects. Bill's idol is Greg Lake. He lives in Gold Canyon with his wife, Paula, and their dog Lilibet.
JEFF NEMEC
Drums and Vocals
Jeff is from the Cleveland, Ohio area and has been playing drums "forever". Jeff says he is getting old in Arizona. He lives in San Tan Valley with his wife, Annette, and their dog daughter, Roxy. His motto is "If you can't play well, play LOUD!" (But we know he is one of the best drummers around.)
LOUIE MATTA
Lead guitar and Vocals
Louie was born in Mesa and is a lifetime Arizonian. He started playing at the age of 12. He joined his first band when he was 16 and has been rocking ever since. Louie's favorite guitars he plays are his Gibson Hummingbird Acoustic, Gibson SC and Fender American Fat Strat Texas Special. He lists his influences as the Beatles, Cream, Creedence, Doobie Brothers and the Eagles.
Louie lives in Mesa with his wife, Tina, and their puppy, Frida.
Meet the crew behind the band
Dave Pinska (second from right)
Dave is our Sound Engineer and Stage Manager. He retired after 32 years doing TV sound in the twin cities. Dave was also a certified ski instructor and race coach. Dave and his wife, Sharon, live in Queen Creek and enjoy going to IndyCar races, playing golf, and of course, great music. Sharon (not pictured here, see the photo gallery) controls our light show.
Jared Coons (far right)
Bass Tech and Roadie extraordinaire
Jared is an experienced mountain biker and says he likes food & music! He lives in Chandler with his fiancee, Erica, and their dogs Georgia and Baxter.
